Way before Brangelina was ever a thing, there was Brennifer. While Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s relationship is the more popular one, the actor used to be in a high-profile marriage to Friends actress Jennifer Aniston from 2000 to 2006.
And just after the finalization of Jolie and Pitt’s divorce was announced, a relic from Pitt’s previous marriage resurfaced. A hedge fund executive has reportedly listed Brennifer’s former Beverly Hills estate for a whopping $56 million.
Hollywood Pedigree
Originally built in 1934, the house is a product of famous architect Wallace Neff, who was hired by popular 30s and 40s Hollywood actor Fredric March. Its other previous owners include Wallis Annenberg, a socialite, and philanthropist.
The property is currently in the possession of Jonathan Brooks, founder of Smithwood Partners. He reportedly bought the home from the ex-couple in 2006 after the two divorced. Originally bought by Pitt and Aniston in 2001 for $13.5 million, the exes spent around three years renovating the house.
They added new features like heated marble floors for the kitchen and a pub room. Wooden floors from a 200-year-old French castle is said to also be incorporated into the home. Very fitting considering the house’s description as having a French Normandy revival-style.

Inside, the house boasts of a custom kitchen with beautiful black and white marble flooring which matches its black cabinetry. Meanwhile, its countertops and shelves are also made of marble. Further in, is the living room located on the home’s main level. Equipped with plenty of configured seating areas and a marble fireplace, the room is described to be airy.
But perhaps the most covetable features of the house are its two bars. The first bar room can be converted into a movie showing room with its digital projector while the second full-bar is located downstairs. This is where the sitting room and the glass-made wine storage are located.
Right outside the main house is a swimming pool with its own fireplace located in the ‘living area’ right next to it. A newly minted tennis court with an accompanying pavilion can also be found outside.
Separate Lives
After parting ways, the exes each found new partners with Pitt eventually marrying Jolie in 2014 after around eight years of dating. The actor currently shares six kids with his former wife who filed for divorce from him in 2016.
Meanwhile, Aniston married fellow actor Justin Theroux years after her controversial breakup with Pitt. Unfortunately, the couple has since also separated after two years of marriage.
Thirteen years after their breakup, it seems like Pitt and Aniston have found themselves both single once again. Could this mean a comeback for Brennifer?
