Penelope Keith – 82
Dame Penelope Keith is an actress and presenter who is known for her work in television, primarily for her roles in the British sitcoms “The Good Life” and “To The Manor Born.” In 1989, she was elected the President of the Actors’ Benevolent Fund and was appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) in 2014.
Keith became a household name after her role in “The Good Life.” In 1976, she won the Oliver Award for Best Comedy Performance for her role in the play “Donkeys’ Years.” In 1977, she won the BAFTA Award for Best Light Entertainment Performance, and we are grateful she is still alive.
