Patrick Stewart – Mirfield, 81
For six decades, Patrick Stewart made waves for his wide-spanning career, ranging from work in theatre to television to films. He started from Royal Shakespeare Company and got noticed by some of the industry’s biggest names. The BBC‘s interest, in particular, was piqued by the star’s exceptional acting skills, who then offered Patrick roles in Hedda and I, Claudius.
Yet today, Patrick is notably celebrated across the world as Professor Charles Xavier from the megahit X-Men series. Still, the consummate jack of all trades, Stewart also works as a voice artist, having only recently contributed to the animated film Dragon Rider.
