Jessica Benton was born in 1942 in the British town of Hampstead. She became a successful actor, most well-known for her role in the 1971 film,
The Onedin Line.
Now 79, Jessica can look back at her blossomed career spanning over a decade. Although she is an acclaimed actor, she is a fully trained dancer in ballet and modern jazz. In 1980 Benton decided to retire from television and expressed her lack of determination and drive to follow influencers and producers to be cast as an actress and settled for theatre plays. In an idyllic twist, Jessica lives on a farm with her photographer husband, Charlie Waite.
