Hugh Grant – London, 60
Moviegoers will probably associate Hugh Grant as a bankable leading man for modern rom-com classics like Notting Hill and Two Weeks Notice. However, he moved on from that persona with surprising performances in Awfully Big Adventure and Cloud Atlas.
Grant didn’t start big. After his debut in 1982’s Privileged, he worked as an assistant groundsman, tutor, and writer. The actor was about to give up acting when he landed the lead in Four Wedding and a Funeral, the highest British grossing film to date. Despite having a few highly publicized relationships, the heartthrob remains guarded with his personal life. We can’t wait to see what’s next for this artist.
