Anne Stallybrass – Essex, 82
It’s admirable how Anne Stallybrass knew she wanted to be an actress and resolutely set out to accomplish that dream at a young age. After training at the Royal Academy for Music in London, Anne began her foray into theatre and television, steadily gaining fame by playing memorable roles in shows like The Six Wives of Henry VIII.
Yet it was while acting in the popular series, The Onedin Line, when Stallybrass became a household name and fell in love with her costar Peter Gilmore, marrying him a decade later in 1987. After appearing in A Song for Jenny in 2015, Anne seems to have settled out of the limelight.
