Shirley Cheriton – London, 66

Shirley Cheriton began acting at the age of seven and continued to follow her dream of becoming an actress. Even though Shirley appeared in several television shows such as The Gentle Touch and Raven, in the end, EastEnders‘ classic smash hit series proved to be her claim to fame in 1985. Cheriton played a pretentious bank clerk to perfection!

Surprisingly, her last on-screen appearance was in the 2009 drama Last Night a DJ Saved My Life and has since remained under the radar. We assume the Beasts actress has happily settled into retirement surrounded by family and friends.
