A Life-Changing Decision

Sometimes, all it takes is one fateful encounter for one’s life to change forever. Elin can surely relate: if she hadn’t met Mia Pavernik, the wife of the Swedish professional golfer Jesper Pavernik, nothing would have been the same. Elin and Mia became friends during Elin’s brief spell as a Champagne employee. Not long after they first met, Mia asked Elin to become the nanny for her children.

Elin always wanted to work with children, so she found the job extremely exciting. She was also charmed by Mia and Jesper’s lavish lifestyle. There was a problem, though: the job required her to move permanently to the United States.
