Some students take high school as a place that robs them of their precious and much-needed freedom. In Megan’s case, she doesn’t see it as a jail, as seen before in this article, but does compare it to being a slave, similar to the elves from the “Harry Potter.”

But there’s one particular elf that she is quoting here, and that’s Dobby. After his master Lucius Malfoy threw a book with a useless piece of clothing inside it (a sock, to be specific), Dobby caught it, making him a free elf.
