According to Jake Ryan, when one door closes, another one opens. Before starting acting, his aspiration was the fast-kicking martial arts, taekwondo. He even represented Australia’s national taekwondo team until an unexpected series of events has led Jake towards a very different path.

By 2003, Jake had made his on-screen debut in the short film ‘Trouble in Paradise. In just ten years, he would appear in 2013’s ‘Great Gatsby’ alongside A-list icon Leonardo Di Caprio.
