Christine Stephen-Daly – Age 48, Casualty

In 1996, a then-unknown Christine Stephen-Daly got her big acting break when she was cast as Amber Kingsley in the Australian soap opera ‘Pacific Drive.’ She must have impressed TV producers with that stint as she subsequently landed more jobs in other popular programs like ‘Stingers.’

Like many aspiring stars, Stephen-Daly hoped to leverage on her momentum, so she moved to the United Kingdom, searching for more prominent roles. As fate would have it, the Aussie actress got her wishes granted when ‘BBC One’ gave her the role of Lara Stone in ‘Casualty’ and stayed on for three years. It’s been almost a decade since her last project, but we get the feeling we won’t be seeing the last of Stephen-Daly.
