Happy to Fill In
Nini, being one of the youngest and strongest employees at the Waffle House, was on shift that Saturday morning. As expected, it was full of activity, with customers ordering their breakfast to eat there or to take out.
As much as she was valued at work, Nini was also hard-working and loved her job at the diner that had the tagline “Serving Good Food Fast since 1955.” After all, it was her clear path to college, and she wasn’t going to pass on it.
