It seems like Sprinkles the Clown might’ve just missed his cue for the afterlife. In this eerie trail cam shot from eastern Kentucky, he’s giving us a peek at what could be his big comeback. The legend of Sprinkles, who allegedly survived a deadly circus crash and a brutal winter through very dark methods, may have gone from a spooky campfire story to a genuine nightmare—alive and well, at least according to this photo.

Maybe this photo is just a strange coincidence—or maybe it’s Sprinkles, still out there, lurking in the Appalachian woods. Whatever it is, it sure makes you rethink taking a late-night hike through the mountains.
