The Crazy Neighbor
The Loves had a neighbor they referred to as the “crazy lady.” The neighbor occasionally got visits from the police, who came to check on her, so Cheryl thought they mistook the addresses. There was no way the police would be looking for her or anyone in her family, right? She obviously wasn’t worried at first and opened the door for the officers.
As soon as she did, 12 officers barged into her house without much explanation. What exactly was going on that she wasn’t aware of? She hadn’t expected that it would be the day her life would take a negative turn.
