Another Escape Plan
Miller couldn’t stand the thought of going back upstate and began to devise a means of escape. He had received too many adverse reports and was given the worst job in prison. He was tasked with cleaning up the roads along with other prisoners. He recalled how dreadful it was and only solidified the thought of escaping.
He started to hatch a plan despite the cold weather. To Miller, this provided the right opportunity. He saved up all the money he could and began noticing a routine. He observed that the guard was less strict on Tuesdays and never bothered to pat them down.
