Starting Over
At last, Miller got his clean break and a chance to start afresh. Things were looking up for him, and it seemed he would make a positive turnaround this time. What also helped him was the fact that he had a brother in Washington, D.C. at the time. He lived with his brother in his apartment and even attended the local school.
He attended all his classes and played basketball after school with his friends. Everything appeared to be going well, but that would be short-lived. He was soon mixing with the wrong crowd; with trouble lurking around the corner.
