Italy has four World Cup trophies, level with Germany and only one behind Brazil, but unlike its European counterparts, it has no chance of matching that feat in 2022. The Gli Azzurri were eliminated during the competition’s qualification stage and did not advance to the showpiece in Qatar.

In fact, Italy’s last World Cup appearance came in 2014 in Brazil, where it also failed to make it past the group stage. So much to bear for this lovely lady who traveled the world to support them in their dreadful games. It’s heartbreaking that the team had nothing to rely on, not even the newly introduced goal-line technology.
