English writer Germaine Greer was born in Victoria, Australia, in 1939 and is widely known to be passionate about women’s rights. She had her education at the University of Melbourne and obtained a doctorate degree from Cambridge.
Germaine’s groundbreaking book was ‘The Female Eunuch,’ which sold as many copies worldwide as it did controversies. Her writings have always been known to provoke conversations in the feminist movement and are impactful today. Despite her writings, she appeared in some movies and documentaries, one such movie being ‘Darling, Do You Love Me’ (1968), and played herself in the 2011 mockumentary ‘Come Fly With Me.
