Lynette Curran:  Australia – 76

Besides acting, at which Lynette Curran continues to excel even in her 70s, she is also an ambassador for the annual Senior’s Film Festival. Curran has the ‘Melbourne Theatre Company’ to thank for launching her into acting in 1964, at a time when no one else believed in her talent.

It would take three years of performing on stage before the thespian could transition to acting on screen. Her first role off the stage was in the soap opera ‘Bellbird,’ which would mark the beginning of a long and prosperous career in the TV and film industries. Fifty acting credits may seem like much, but Curran is constantly working to ensure she adds on to that number.
