Kris McQuade might be in her 60s, but retiring isn’t a word in her vocabulary. Why would she stop working when she is still strong and only gets better over time at what she does?
The actress started performing in the early 1970s, and while she has had moments that she doubted herself, getting to see her fans’ appreciation of her work has kept her going. From working in low-budget films that did not see the light of day to getting an AACTA Award, McQuade is glad she did not give up on her dreams because she’s now living a life that once seemed like a fantasy.
