Colin Friels: Ayrshire – 69
Hard work is an attribute that Colin Friels inherited as his parents’ legacy. Working as a laborer upon first moving to Australia, he transitioned into the performing arts through the National Institute of Dramatic Art. While the formal training did polish his talent, we cannot look over the natural act the star puts up whenever onstage.
Beginning with theatre, Colin later played the tech-savvy in ‘Malcolm,’ which he got felicitated for with an AFI Award. Adding to that, ‘Ground Zero’ and ‘Halifax f.p.’ are two of the many productions that feature on the thespian’s cap. To fulfill the philanthropic duties that come with fame, Friels is frequent in public debates and a firm supporter of the ‘Sydney Peace Foundation.
