Actor Jack Thompson is best known for his appearances in ‘The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith’ of 1978 and ‘Breaker Morant’ of 1980. At the beginning of his career, he had a job at the United Nations and tried to balance it with acting, but he went with the latter in the end.
At 65 years old, Jack was recognized by the Critic’s Circle of Australia, which gave him a lifetime achievement award. Also, the Cinema Owners Association of Australia awarded him with the Outstanding Contribution to Australian Film Entertainment, and we think he deserves even more, considering his dedication and commitment to showbiz.
