Everyone loves inspiring rags-to-riches stories, and self-made billionaire Lord Alan Sugar is the epitome of those. The guy went from making money at a greengrocer’s to buying a van with his savings and setting up his business at only 21. ‘Amstrad’ was first an electronics sale business from the back of his van before Sugar launched the ‘Amstrad’ personal computer in 1984.

You guessed right, that was his major financial breakthrough. He has also had a hand in other business ventures such as a property agency, advertising, and being a ‘BBC’ host for ‘The Apprentice’ show, where he largely portrayed his business acumen.
