The World’s Oldest Living Woman
Sister Andre is the oldest woman in the world today. She turned 118 in April 2022, the same month the previous oldest living woman in the world died at the age of 119. Her new title was confirmed by Laurent Toussaint, a computer scientist and tracker, who noted that the next after her was a 115-year-old woman.
These stories seem to show that women are more of the oldest people in the world, and it is concurrent with statistics that say women live longer than men on average.
