Having A Creative Outlet

Art was a case of killing two birds with one stone for Mary because it served as her career as well as her creative outlet. When Mary was raising her kids, drawing gave her a medium to express herself. She was able to make her pictures better over time, even though she had her hands full with kids.

Generally, creative outlets help one deal with stress and anxiety. And Mary must have been under a lot of that as a mom because she ended up having a lot more kids.
