George Stephanopoulos – $15 Million

Another anchor who started his career in politics, Stephanopoulos, worked as a political adviser for the Democratic Party. He furthered his career in the White House, becoming the White House communications director and later, senior advisor for policy and strategy.

Stephanopoulos left the White House in 1996 and took his political expertise into the media, becoming the Political Analyst for ABC News. He is currently the anchor and political analyst for ABC News. Stephanopoulos is part of the successful co-anchor team with Robin Roberts, that took Good Morning America to the top of the ratings. He has also played himself on TV shows House Of Cards and Agents of SHIELD.
