Jake Tapper – $4 million
Tapper has three Merriman Smith Memorial Awards for his work in broadcast journalism as well as an Emmy Award for Outstanding Live Coverage of A Current News Story. And all of this before moving to current employer CNN, where he now has his show called The Lead With Jake Tapper.
He is also a published author with a fictional thriller called The Hellfire Club and a non-fiction book called The Outpost: An Untold Story of American Valor, among others. Tapper’s daughter also became a published author at 11-years-old, with a children’s picture book called Raise Your Hands.
