Shepard Smith – $10 million
Smith spectacularly started his career as a reporter and news anchor at several news stations in Florida before earning a break as the correspondent for the 20th Century Fox news magazine, A Current Affair. This put him in the right place at the right time when 20th Century Fox decided to open the Fox New Channel in 1996.
Smith remained a fixture at Fox News hosting The Fox Report with Shepard Smith and later, Shepard Smith Reporting. He was also named the managing editor of Fox News’ breaking news division. Smith eventually left Fox News in 2019. In 1997 Smith played himself in the Tommy Lee Jones movie Volcano.
