The daughter of former US senator John McCain, Meghan McCain, spent most of her life in the spotlight. While on the campaign trail with her father in 2007, she wrote a popular blog that opened the door for her to become a contributing writer for news and opinion website The Daily Beast.
Her writing skills also landed her a six-figure publishing deal with Hyperion (now Hachette Books) in 2009. By 2011, Meghan made her first move into television as a political analyst for MSNBC. Since moving to TV she has hosted her political show, co-hosted another on Fox Network, and currently co-hosts daytime talk show The Talk.
