Covering hard news is what makes Craig Melvin tick. Even as a news anchor at WIS-TV in South Carolina, he still created several series about the homeless situation in the state of Columbia. When he joined NBC/MSNBC, he covered everything from local tornadoes to mass shootings and even covered the Rio Olympic. All while still anchoring the daytime news.
He is currently anchoring or co-anchoring four NBC shows, Dateline Extra, Today, MSNBC Live, and Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly. He still feeds his hunger for hard news as a News Correspondent for NBC as well.
