Bret is the chief political anchor and presenter of Special Report with Bret Baier on Fox News. He has a BA degree in Political Science and earned his pedigree by working as a Chief White House Correspondent and Pentagon correspondent for Fox News.

He has earned several awards for his work, including the 2016 Kenneth Y. Tomlinson Award for Outstanding Journalism, 2017 Sol Taishoff Award for Excellence in Broadcast Journalism and the 2018 Urbino Press Award. Baier has also authored four books, most recently an inside scoop at the end of World War II titled Three Day At The Brink.
