Bob Dole & Elizabeth Dole – Married For 46 Years

We may no longer see Bob Dole as frequently as we used to, but Republicans will never forget the work he did for the party in his active years. He launched his political career in 1950 and ended it after bearing the title of Senate Majority Leader in 1996.

Both during and after his career, the now 97-year-old has had one constant in his life—his wife of 46 years—Elizabeth Dole. She may not be the mother of Dole’s child as he was married before, but they remain close together in their old age. Unfortunately, Dole’s doctors diagnosed him with stage IV lung cancer in 2021 and is undergoing treatment.
