Queen Elizabeth & Prince Philip – Together For 74 Years

Queen Elizabeth II may have been a teenager when she fell for the then-strapping and young Prince Philip; the two only became engaged once she turned 21. As most royal couples do, the pair was struck with several controversies, such as Prince Philip’s lack of financial standing and his birthplace of Greece.

Nevertheless, the couple committed to each other on November 20, 1947, at Westminster Abbey and never looked back. Her Majesty is now almost 95, while Prince Philip is just a couple of months shy of hitting a century. The two have been fortunate enough to see generations of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
