Five-time Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters champion, Bernd Schneider is a German racer and a Mercedes brand ambassador. He was named after the legendary Bernd Rosemeyer and has since proved to be legendary himself with several wins under his belt. Starting at an early age, Schneider has was several cart championships.

After retiring in 2008, he has come back many times to partake in endurance races, including the Pro-Am class of the Blancpain Sprint Series. Schneider lives with his girlfriend, Svenjer, and their daughter in Monte Carlo. He also has two other children, Lisa-Marie and Luca Maximilian with his ex-wife.
