Generally, losing something one holds dear would make a person value it even more. That’s what happened between Jean-Claude Van Damme and his third wife, Gladys Portugues. They married in 1987, divorced in 1992, remarried seven years later, and are still together. Talk about meant-to-be!

Van Damme, as many of us already know, is a Belgian actor and former martial artist, particularly known for his stunts in movies. At the same time, Portugues is a professional bodybuilder and actress. The couple has been husband and wife for over 25 years, and although they came very close to splitting for good around 2014, Van Damme chose to fight for his soulmate.
