Kristy McNichol & Martie Allen – Together For 29 Years
She hasn’t acted for a while now, but Kristy McNichol is hardly forgotten. After all, she’s been involved in acting in one way or the other since she was a teenager playing Buddy in Family. Kristy quit the spotlight in the ’90s, mainly because she had a secret.
Reportedly, in 1991, she started dating Martie Allen. It took her years to find the courage and come out publicly, as she did in 2012, hoping to encourage others in her position to do the same. They’ve been living together in Kristy’s house in Los Angeles, where she also works as an acting teacher.
