You have to understand that her parents were an interracial couple in the 70s, and if history is anything to go by, life then was hard for such pairings. It wouldn’t have been easy for Sarah’s parents to raise her together. Nevertheless, tough decisions had to be made, and Sarah’s adoption had turned out okay anyway. Now all she had to do was find the man who must have had a good reason to give her up.
