It was almost funny seeing her father in such a light as he was royalty. You’d probably expect him to have an air of command and authority about him. In his defense, even with nerves of steel, you can’t anticipate your estranged daughter’s first reaction to you. Sarah’s father was hoping that his daughter would accept him and take up the mantle waiting for her.
