Sarah’s letter must have been very effective because she got a call four days after sending the letter to her real family. There was an unknown woman on the other end, and she identified herself as Sarah’s aunt, Evelyn.
Sarah was shocked. She had expected some form of response, but she never expected it to be that quick. It’s almost like her relatives had been patiently waiting for her to contact them or something. Then, as Sarah was still gathering her thoughts, her uncle got on the line, and things got even more exciting.
