Caught in the Moment

Zak Noyle knows how to catch the perfect wave, but it looks like he might’ve also caught the perfect fall. As he’s clearly plunging into the chaos of a swirling vortex, he’s still somehow managing to snap a selfie. His face says it all—excitement mixed with a dash of “I might regret this.” At least the view is an experience, right?

While most of us would probably focus on survival, Zak’s out here making sure to capture the moment, risking it all for a great shot. Maybe that’s the secret to his legendary surf photography—never letting a little thing like gravity get in the way of a good photo op.
