Kirk Douglas – $3.5M, Palm Springs
Kirk Douglas spent decades portraying different kinds of roles in Hollywood. He managed his finances well but he also didn’t mind making big purchases. One example was his vacation house in Palm Springs. It was the perfect peaceful getaway he needed.
He owned it until the late ’90s and the next owners reportedly bought it from him for $1.3 million. When the estate was placed on the real estate market again, it was purchased for around $3.5 million. Back in February 2020, Douglas passed away at the age of 103
