Bobby Charlton and Norma Ball – Married For 60 Years

When Bobby Charlton agreed to a night out with his friends at an ice rink, he thought it would be a great chance to unwind after a long day at work, enjoy a good meal and then head home. Little did the former midfielder know that he would meet the person he would spend the rest of his life with.

After being introduced to each other through a mutual friend, Charlton and Ball were inseparable. They have been together for more than six decades, and the pair still refers to each other as their best friend.
