The ‘70s star who gave us films like The Rose (1979), Ruthless People (1986), and Hocus Pocus (1993) seems to have a special bond with her only daughter as they are always seen together like best friends.

After earning her degree in East Asian studies at Yale University and working for an ad agency in China, Sophia came back to Yale for their drama school in 2011. Since then, the 32-year-old has acted on films, with her latest one being Ask for Jane (2018). Momma Midler must be proud!
