Robert Redford’s Son – James Redford
The son of retired actor/director Robert Redford and American historian Lola Van Wagenen, James Redford, now aged 58, inherited more than his father’s looks. He also developed a passion for film, particularly for writing, directing, and producing. Probably shyer than his famous dad, James built a career working mainly in socially-relevant documentaries.
Without ever attempting acting, as most celebrity children do, James worked on at least ten documentaries, focusing on important causes such as the environment, dyslexia, youth behavioral issues, and evil corporate campaigns. His most famous film is probably HBO’s Mann V. Ford, which focuses on a legal case involving the Ramapough Indians, the EPA, and Ford.
