Jordin Sparks was a few days away from her birthday when the songbird realized that she was thriving in every other aspect of her life but her physical state, which was alarming. The songstress was constantly tired, which she decided to change by adjusting her lifestyle.
She opted for regular smaller-sized meals throughout the day and hired a personal trainer. The fitness coach did not last long. The former American Idol star could barely walk after three sessions with him, prompting Sparks to resort to less intense routines such as jump rope and running, which have kept the extra 50 pounds at bay.
