Ruben Studdard – Lost 119 Lbs
Ruben Studdard gained popularity after winning the second season of the hit singing competition show, American Idol. He also received his first Grammy nomination in 2003 for the best male R&B vocal performer. Studdard was widely known to be a plus-sized singer with great talent.
After he was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, Ruben knew that he needed to change his ways. He then joined The Biggest Loser and impressively dropped 119 pounds in his journey. He was reportedly going to make his Broadway debut in December 2018 that would be held at the Imperial Theatre.
