Vera Lynn – Recently Passed – Undisclosed Price, East Sussex

Since the early ‘60s, Vera Lynn had been living out a quiet life in Ditchling, East Sussex. Her house was located right next to her daughter’s house. It’s safe to say that she had bought the property with her late husband, Harry Lewis, who passed away in 1998.

Vera had become famous during the Second World War, as her voice and songs provided courage and company to families. She passed away at her home on June 18th, 2020, at the age of 103. Her death came just a month after Katherine Jenkins sang We’ll Meet Again at the Royal Albert Hall for the 17th VE Day.
