Leonardo Dicaprio – $1.75 Million, Belize

Leonardo DiCaprio is very smart when it comes to investments. The Titanic star purchased a $1.75-million island in Belize and he plans to build an eco-resort there. Anything and everything about the resort will be environmentally friendly but a home or villa on the island will be worth around $5 million.

The eco-resort is scheduled to open in 2020, and it will include off-the-grid living homes that are solar-powered and surrounded by some of the world’s most beautiful natural landscapes. There will be 36 bungalows and 36 villas available for those lucky enough to afford it.
