Ellen DeGeneres once lived in a huge 10,500 -square-foot deluxe house in California with wife Portia de Rossi. The property has its own media room, swimming pool, and a massive dining area. When they put it up for sale, their asking price was $45 million but they had to lower it to $39.5 million since they couldn’t find a buyer.

Ellen DeGeneres is one of the biggest names in the world of television right now, and she’s been hosting The Ellen DeGeneres Show since 2003. In 2018 alone, Ellen pocketed $87.5 million, so we’re guessing she can afford as many mansions as she wishes to.
