Haha… This isn’t anyone’s luggage. This isn’t even luggage being transported. What it actually is, is one of two baggage towers at Sacramento airport. Officially titled the Samson Luggage Sculpture, these 23-foot pillars are made of 700 pieces of luggage stacked to the airport’s ceiling.
It’s believed that the pillars actually support the roof of the airport, although, upon closer inspection, the bags have actually been cleverly packed around an existing pillar. The pillars were created in 1998 by artist Brian Goggin. We wonder how those bags are held in place.
